The Rise Beyond 96 Women's ski is a perfect example of Volkl's gold standard of hard-charging, powder-eating, and corn-slaying skis that are lauded by skiers of all shapes and sizes. The Rise 96 ski is the improved model of last year's Rise 98. Volkl has shaved off two millimeters from the underfoot, yielding a ski that is even easier to turn and more stable on hardpack. The ski is designed with Volkl's 3D Radius Sidecut - three different turning radii along the length of the ski - which enables this ski to handle high-speed long turns as well as quick turns in narrow spots.
